Teenage girls may moon over Kellan Lutz as vampire Emmett Cullen in theTwilight saga — the penultimate installment,Breaking Dawn Part 1, premieres November 18 — but it’s his racy Calvin Klein underwear campaign and his oft-photographed shirtless workouts that really get gay men’s blood pumping. Also playing the god Poseidon in Immortals, which is in theaters November 11, the 26-year-old heartthrob opens up about being worshipped.
The Advocate: I’m not much of a Twihard, but I’ve been a fan of yours since HBO’sThe Comeback in 2005.

What did you take away from that experience?
I loved working on The Comeback, but I faked that whole experience. I was just a happy-go-lucky kid who fell into acting. I was going to college at Orange County’s Chapman University for chemical engineering. I met this checkout lady at Ralph’s named Maria and, long story short, she said that I should be an actor and opened up my eyes to the world of acting. I started taking acting classes, auditioning, doing extra work, and I fell in love with acting. I didn’t even notice Lisa Kudrow in the room when I did my last callback for The Comeback, because I didn’t watch TV, but I was bouncing off the walls with energy. I just thank them all for giving me a chance. It opened so many doors for me.

Kellan Lutz congratulates Nikki Reed on her wedding
KELLAN LUTZ has congratulated his TWILIGHT co-star NIKKI REED on her marriage to singer PAUL MCDONALD.
The blushing bride exchanged vows with McDonald, a former American Idol contestant, in Malibu, California on Sunday (16Oct11) and took to her Twitter.com page to express her happiness on Monday (17Oct11).
She writes, "Yesterday was the most magical day of my life..."
Her blog post prompted Lutz to send his love to the actress in his own post, tweeting, "Huge Congrats to you guys! So happy for you!"

Kellan pays tribute to Andy Whitfield
Actor Kellan Lutz and actress Lucy Lawless have paid tribute to Andy Whitfield, who died on Sunday.
The Spartacus: Blood And Sand star passed away at his home in Sydney, Australia after succumbing to non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
He was struck down with the disease last year when he was preparing to shoot a second series of the dramatic show, and was forced to make way for Liam McIntyre to replace him.
Following his passing, Whitfield’s wife paid tribute to her husband, calling him a “beautiful young warrior” who died on a “sunny Sydney morning” in the “arms of his loving wife”.
And now his friends and former colleagues have rushed to pay their condolences.
Lutz writes on Twitter.com, “Just landed & read abt (about) Andy Whitfield passing away. Tragic, such an amazing actor. He made Spartacus! My condolences to his fam/friends. RIP.”
Lawless, who starred with him in Spartacus, writes on her website, “Obviously, Andy Whitfield left an indelible mark on all of us in the Spartacus family. Andy’s incandescent film presence made men want to be him and women want to marry him.”
“Andy’s two babies will always know that their Daddy cherished them and their mother, Vashti, above all things. How lucky we were to have him grace all our lives.”
Spartacus creator Steven DeKnight adds on Twitter.com, “No words to express the depth of such a loss. You will be deeply missed, my brother.”
Battlestar Galactica actress Katee Sackhoff writes, “I’m so saddened by the news of Andy Whitfield’s passing. He was a great talent and a true warrior. RIP,” while True Blood’s Mehcad Brooks adds, “God bless Andy Whitfield. AkaSpartacus. Rest in peace.”

Kellan has cancelled ET6
Kellan has cancelled ET6 - the Eternal Twilight 6 convention in the UK in October. Which we are attending and were supposed to give Kellan the fan book while there (which I guess we'll be posting to him now)
Is it ok for me to cry over this bit of news? I'm so gutted, obviously I completely support Kellan as an Actor and its great that he has yet another film to film... but does it rally have to be then?! haha...
Here's what Kellan said about the cancellation:
"I'm very sorry that I am not going to be able to make it to England and Eternal Twilight 6 in October. I have just got work on a new film that I am really excited about but unfortunately the shooting for the film is at the same time as Eternal Twilight. I had an absolute blast meeting all my UK fans a few years ago at the first ET show and I was so looking forward to seeing you all again. I hope to be able to come to future event and catch up with you all. Sorry for the disappointment and thank you so much for understanding and supporting me! Love Kellan".
